Five minutes before the arranged time, our model Mr. João Velodrade texted us letting us know that he had just arrived to the arranged location. We got there right after it.

First, we did the internal photo shoot in the studio and it barely began, we could see that he was extremely experienced, giving us dynamic poses, one after another, as the flashes were on. Mr. Velodrade wore two different outfits during the session.

After that, we paused for lunch and then we headed to the external site for the final photo shoot on the beach.

We estimated that it would take us about three hours to accomplish the whole session taking into account the time to get to the location and the equipment setup.

It was about 3 PM when we finally started the session.

It was very cloudy and rainy, but we managed to capture such beautiful images for our editorial here and there everytime the rain stopped.

By the way, as soon as we started, we noticed that Mr. Velodrade was giving us a completely different persona. We were highly satisfied since that was part of our expectation towards him, due to his preparation and his high level of commitement to convey the message we wanted.

During the pauses, we talked a bit more with Mr. Velodrade and we could learn a bit more from him. He shared us a bit more of his experience, his knowledge and he has also revealed his aspiration to pursue an international career as a fashion model as such that he has been preparing himself for that moment to come true.

Althoug he is very young, we could tell that he already has experience enough and that gives him some advantage in comparison with other older models who have just embarked in the market. Mr. Velodrade has also shown us to be very polite and tactful when it comes to interacting with the staff around.

Our interaction was just great! No much direction was needed since we could tell he had a natural talent.

We are really looking forward to having the opportunity to photograph him again sometime soon. But for the time being, all we can do is to wish him a successful journey full of great achievements on his carreer. Fly high!
