He was born in Colíder, a city in the state of Mato Grosso, Brazil. He says he is half an Aries and half a Taurus, since the moon was transitioning between these two constellations the moment he was born.

He arrived in São Paulo in 2022 with R$ 2.000,00 and a luggage weighing 5 kg. In the beginning, he worked as a hod carrier until the moment he participated in an audition promoted by a model scout. Instantly after that, he joined 2 different fashion model agencies, but left them after a while, then joined a third one, and only after that he finally started getting some job proposals and his career took off. This is how Mr. Jhyowan Junior entered in the fashion world and since then he has already stepped on the catwalk 3 times. Yes, that’s right! He participated in 3 editions of the São Paulo Fashion Week (SPFW), and has participated in some campaigns for some national well-known brands.

Although he likes fashion in general, he is really into editorials and campaigns and has confessed that he aspires to explore some foreign territories in the future and for this reason, he intends to get ready for that moment.

When it comes to modelling, he said that the pleasant and joyful atmosphere around fashion is what he likes the most about it, just like the other fashion models we have interviewed so far.

We arranged to have 1 session in the studio and another in a location. In the studio, our idea was to portray a sense of funky casualty with the first garment (a green silk shirt, shorts, yellow necklace and a pair of earrings). On the other hand, with the second outfit, in the location, our intention was to portray an editorial so the images were captured in an old and abandoned train tunnel and the model wore a plain black shirt and a pair of brown Japanese style pants. Both photoshoots did not take long since Mr. Jhyowan is such an experienced model and little direction was necessary. He was extremely skillful, changing poses so quickly, showing to be in control in front of the cameras and being very focused.

We noticed he has a clear perception of his career and goals, and his willpower and determination to become a renowned professional is what make him to be a giant warrior in and out of the catwalks, studios and locations. He was extremely kind to us and 100% committed the entire session.

We really hope he gets job proposals great enough to make him fly very high all over the world.
