Thanks to the universe, everything has worked out great for us to have a photoshoot with our fashion model Mr. Gabriel Felipe. The negociation was smooth so was the session from begining to end.

Initially, we came up with two outfits, but a third one was added upon Mr. Felipe’s wish and we made sure to grant him that request once we try hard to reach the expectations of those we photograph. That specific outfit had an significant meaning to him.

We started our photoshoot. It was a beautiful sunny day, the sky was clear and there was not a single cloud in it. It was around 2 PM, the sunrays slowly started descending, reflex went through buildings and trees around, so we took advantage of it to control the light reflecting into the lens and played with it a little bit throughout the session building an interesting contrast between the model’s silhouette and the background. As the photoshoot progressed, outfits have been changed, we also moved to a new location nearby and the light from sky were more and more difuse.

It was around 5 PM when we started capturing images with Mr. Felipe’s final outfit. The one he had requested. We could tell sunlight would not last much longer and that was the perfect combination for the atmosphere and feeling we would like to portray through the images. One could clearly see the duality between light and darkness as well as the empty space, but full of life in a few meters away from where we were.

The images captured tried to convey a moment of resilience and power once the sky is the limit for those who really have willpower to overcome a difficult situation in life.

Approximately four months later, we saw Mr. Gabriel Felipe again for a new photoshoot. However, that time we did it in a studio. We had chosen two outfits for him, and the result was just great.

Thus, we were highly satisfied to see him again and to be able to work with him and see all his talent, charisma and good sense of humor.

We thank Mr. Gabriel Felipe to have shared such nice moments with us and we do wish him to fly really high.
